| PROJECT TITLE | Botanical treatment destroys cancer cells |
| CATEGORY | Multiple Myeloma, Botanicals |
| PROJECT DESCRIPTION |
It is impossible to destroy all multiple myeloma cancer cells using current chemotherapy. However, preliminary data seems to indicate that a derivative of a certain botanical has the ability to reduce para-proteins in the blood to almost zero and keep it there, with no side effects. This project will continue the laboratory testing to determine how the botanical works, and will also provide clinical testing on patients to see if the initial results can be validated. If successful, this project would provide a low cost, low side effect treatment for a disease population that really needs it! |
